Do I have to share my pension after my Florida divorce?

It really depends on whether that is a marital asset or not. If your pension was acquired during the term of the marriage then it’s going to be considered a marital asset. Now, if your spouse has a similar pension that has about the same amount in it, then you wouldn’t be sharing your pension. You’d keep yours and your spouse would keep theirs. If your pension was the only pension that was acquired during the marriage, then yes, you’re going to be sharing your pension.
