My spouse and I are in agreement and just want an attorney to make our agreements legal. Can the attorney do that?
You could retain an attorney to draft up a settlement agreement between the two parties or the contract in how they want to resolve the issues of their case. In our firm, we would only represent one party in drafting that agreement. We would review it with you, and then you can submit it to the other party, but we would not answer their legal questions. They would have a right to retain an attorney to review that with them as well.
