In my Florida divorce case, what does the mediator do?
The mediator is a neutral third party that tries to help the parties come to a resolution of their matters. Usually what they do is they go in and they talk with one party and kind of get an idea of what that party really wants for the divorce. Then they go into the other room and they talk to the other party and see what they want. They try to work ways for you to try to come to a middle ground to try to resolve your issues.
