Can I change attorneys in the middle of my Florida divorce case?
Yes. You always have the right to choose your attorney, so if at any point you feel like your attorney is not representing you well, you always have the choice to hire a different attorney. You will need to notify your current attorney that you are seeking new counsel. That new counsel will send your attorney a substitution of counsel and it can be done fairly simply. However, it is always best if you discuss your issues with your current attorney first to try to find a solution or an answer. The reason is that you both have time and knowledge invested in your case and many times problems are a result of misunderstanding and clarity. All family Law Group, P.A.
