In a collaborative divorce in Florida will I still go to court?

Eventually, after your collaborative divorce has created a settlement agreement you will have to go to court to finalize that agreement and have the court sign a final judgment incorporating that agreement. It is not a scary process and it is not like what you see on TV. If you have an agreement, it is a very simple hearing where the judge will swear you in, the lawyer will ask you a few questions about your marriage being irretrievably broken, and then the judge will sign off on your final decree. It’s not going to be any kind of contentious scary legal action requiring extensive testimony.
