It really depends. If you are attending mediation through the court system (county) for your divorce or family law matter if your specific county has a mediation office, there will be a time limit on the mediation. In Hillsborough County it is two hours; however, different counties have different time limits on that. If you’re attending private mediation through a private attorney, the mediation can last as long as you need it to last. I’ve had mediation that’s gone as short as one hour. I have also had mediations that have gone for as long as two days.
