What is the procedure in family law mediation?
When you begin a mediation, it’s going to be on a case by case basis. The parties may be all in one room to begin with, or they may start out in separate rooms. The mediator will give an opening statement, and then the parties will have the opportunity thereafter to provide the mediator with what are the issues that are going to be present at that mediation. After that point, then the mediator will try to facilitate a settlement agreement between the two parties.
