In my Tampa, FL divorce/family law case, what is difference between court ordered & private mediation?

Court-ordered mediation is where the parties are ordered to go to mediation by the court while the divorce or family law action is pending.  Attendance at private mediation can be before you file for a divorce.  Many times, we also consider using private mediation while there’s a divorce pending and if it is not ordered by the court, the parties can attend it voluntarily.  Private mediation is when you use an attorney mediator for the mediation and the time you can spend attempting to come to an agreement is unlimited and agreed upon by the parties.
