In my Florida divorce case, does the mediator meet with the spouses separately or together?

It really depends. If you ask for the mediator to meet with you separately if you don’t really want to be in the same room with your spouse, they will almost always agree to that. Sometimes they want to talk about all the rules in mediation when everybody’s together, but you can always ask to be in separate rooms. It really just depends on your unique situation.
