If not divorced, can one parent move with the children out of Florida?

A parent can relocate with the children out of state, but they have to specifically request that from the court. You have to file a special motion. They can’t just automatically move. You have to file a special motion with the court. You have to allege why you are moving, what the reasons are, and the court, there is actually a quick hearing. There has to be a hearing held within 30 days to determine whether or not you are allowed to move with the children.
