Who should consider collaborative divorce in Florida?
Anyone can do a collaborative divorce, it’s really a process where you are working with your spouse to try to come to an agreement. You’re bringing other people in to give you advice on how to dispose of all of your assets. If you don’t have any assets then you probably don’t need that. If it’s a divorce where you’ve already come to an agreement with your spouse, you don’t have a lot of assets, you’ve agreed to a parenting plan, then you wouldn’t need the collaborative process. But if you have all of those issues outstanding, the collaborative process is really great for helping you come to an agreement without the threat of litigation.
